The retired truck driver has been breeding rabbits as a hobby since 1964. He has won over 100 prizes for his German Grey Giant rabbits and has bred some of the world’s biggest bunnies. Sadly, giant rabbit breeders are dying out in Germany, the home of giant rabbit breeding, and that there are only 300 left. “I can’t live without my giants, and I’ll keep on breeding them as long as I can,” says Szmolinsky.
