Rabbit breeder Karl Szmolinsky, 69, holding his prize rabbit Robert II, 2007 regional champion for the Berlin/Brandenburg region weighing in at over 11 kilos. He is the son of Robert I, who Szmolinsky claims was eaten by the communist leaders of North Korea at a state banquet. He had sold Robert and 11 other rabbits to the North Koreans last year. They were not intended to be eaten but to help set up a rabbit breeding program to feed the population.
