Rise in Annual Temperatures (in Celsius) (2031-2060 as compared to 1971-2000): Presuming that emissions of greenhouse gases will not be drastically curtailed, temperatures should already get considerably warmer over the next few decades. Between 2031 and 2060, temperatures will rise by an average of two degrees over what they have been in recent decades. The calculations of the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology (MPI-M) show that temperatures across Germany will already be one degree higher in 2021.
