Strumbel, alongside the artist Smash137 won the world's first ever graffiti grant, the Montana Scholarship. In keeping with his preferred theme of Heimat, a German concept which roughly translates into 'homeland', his piece bore the message: "Heimat (homeland) cannot be bought".
