The defense gave its closing arguments in the trial against Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik in Oslo on Friday. Breivik's attorney, Geir Lippestad (left) said he wanted his client to be considered sane and to be given the "mildest possible punishment." Formally, Lippestad called on the court to rule that Breivik is not guilty. Breivik has admitted to committing the crimes, but he has also claimed that he carried out the killings as self-defense against what he called the "Islamic colonization" of Europe.
