Photo Gallery: 'Cookie Monster' Claims to Be Holding Hostage

On Tuesday, the alleged perpetrator sent a ransom letter to a local newspaper. "I have the cookie! And you want it," it reads. If you want to see the cookie again, it warns, "you must give all the children (at a local children's hospital) milk chocolate cookies on one day in February -- and not dark chocolate ... and a golden cookie for the children in the cancer ward. ... signed, Cookie Monster."
