In the 1930s, the Nazis gathered together thousands of works by "unworthy" artists to put on a propaganda exhibition called "Degenerate Art." According to a report by Focus, at least 300 of the 1,500 paintings of the now-discovered art stash can be tied to this exhibition. Shown here, Adolf Hitler and Hermann Göring look at a painting, likely at the 1937 event.
