North Korean leader Kim Jong Il on Thursday made his first public appearance since allegedly suffering a stroke last August. He appeared markedly older, but presided over the opening session of the country's legislature. It was a session at which Kim was reappointed for a third term as North Korea's supreme leader. The vote on whether Kim should continue at the helm was 687 to 0, one of those votes being cast by Kim himself in the photo above.
