Two boys in the Democratic Republic of Congo hold up a monkey they captured in the village of Luvungi in the northeastern part of the country. The town was attacked at the end of July by Hutu rebels belonging to the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda and local militias. The attackers raped more than 280 women and minors by way of revenge for the villagers alleged support of the Congolese Defense Forces.
