A woman explores the "Rain Room," a new installation at London's Barbican arts center. The 100-square-meter (ca. 1,000-square-foot) field gives visitors the sensation of being able to control the rain, as the thousands of sensor-controlled drops of water respond to their movements and location. The installation, a work by the Chelsea-based group Random International, opens to the public on Thursday and runs until March 3, 2013.
