These containers blanketed with snow in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, are a peaceful scene compared to the chaos that ensued after a winter storm hit the country earlier this week. Between 2 and 4 inches of snowfall brought transportation to a standstill, causing trains and flights to be cancelled or delayed, while traffic jams were reportedly some of the worst on record.
