Eastern Extremes: A Topography of the Far Right


In many parts of eastern Germany, the right-wing extremist party NPD is more than just a fringe phenomenon. An analysis of past state election results shows that the far right is quite strong in some areas. The party has representatives in state parliament in both Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and in Saxony. Click on the graphic for a larger image.
