Picture This: Ring of Fire

Chinese blacksmiths spray molten metal against cold stone to spectacular effect on Feb. 24. The tradition of more than 300 years in Nuanquan, Hebei Province, a city known for metalworking, takes place annually as part of the Lantern Festival that marks the end of Lunar New Year celebrations.
