You can take care of any of these needs at www.spiegel.de/international/email. You will simply be asked for your username and password.
I haven't been receiving the SPIEGEL INTERNATIONAL Newsletter for several days now.
Go to www.spiegel.de/international/email. If there has been a problem with your subscription and you've been automatically logged off, you will be informed there. If no problems have been noted, there is likely something wrong with the settings on your e-mail client software.
I've forgotten my username or password.
Your username is included in every newsletter we send to you. If you go to the SPIEGEL INTERNATIONAL registration page, we can send your password to you.
When I receive the newsletter, it causes my computer to crash.
Are you using Lotus Notes 5? This seems to be a program error that pops up occasionally. SPIEGEL INTERNATIONAL has contacted the support center for Lotus but they have not yet clarified the issue. We recommend that you have your newsletter sent to a different (freemail) address.
When I get my newsletter, all I can see is goobledegook.
Are you a customer of AOL or Compuserve? These services often have trouble displaying e-mail attachments. Please contact their support centers or subscribe to the newsletter using a different address.
When I try to pull up an article, I get a "there was an error displaying this link" message.
Hotmail users often have trouble with links to our site. Please use a different e-mail address.
When I click on a link, I get a message that says "host www.spiegel.de not found."
You must have an Internet connection in order to read articles. In the newsletter itself, all you get are headlines and teasers -- to get the full story or the printable version, you have to be online.
Since upgrading my Mac from Outlook 4 to 5, I no longer see the attachment in the form I'm accustomed to. Now I have to open it separately.
It appears that Microsoft has removed the feature from the program that enabled the inline presentation of HTML content. Please contact Microsoft support.
