Indian Workers Prepare for Hindu Pilgrimage

An Indian welder helps build a temporary pontoon bridge across the River Ganges for the Maha Kumbh Mela festival to take place in Allahabad, India next January. Millions of Hindus are expected to make the pilgrimage, which is held every 12 years. The pilgrims bathe in the Ganges as an act of religious purification.
