Picture This: For the Birds

Bird cages are hoisted high for a bird-singing competition on Monday in Narathiwat, a province in southeastern Thailand. Hundreds of bird owners come from across Thailand, neighbouring Malaysia and Singapore to participate in the competition, in which judges award points to the birds' songs based on pitch, melody and volume.
