Another Part of Me

Another Part of Me ist ein Song von Michael Jackson aus seinem Album Bad. Der Song wurde am 11. Juli 1988 als sechste Single des Albums veröffentlicht.

Ursprünglich erschien der Song 1986 in Jacksons 3D-Film Captain EO. Der von Michael Jackson geschriebene und von Quincy Jones produzierte Track wurde auch im Videospiel Michael Jackson's Moonwalker verwendet. Ursprünglich sollte das Lied Streetwalker, welches von Jackson selbst geschrieben wurde, auf dem Album anstelle von Another Part of Me erscheinen. Produzent Quincy Jones sprach sich allerdings für Another Part of Me aus, während Jackson Streetwalker favorisierte.

Der Song erreichte in den USA Platz 11 der Billboard Hot 100, in Großbritannien Platz 15 und in der Schweiz[2] Platz 5 der Hitparade.

Regisseur des 1988 veröffentlichten Musikvideos zum Song war Patrick Kelly. Es zeigt Jackson auf der Bühne, als er den Song während der Bad World Tour im Wembley-Stadion singt. [3]
