This is the desk where Gülen does his work. His aides say he spends a lot fo time reading the Koran. He has published numerous books about Islam and his organization operates schools and prayer rooms in many countries around the world, including Germany.

Gülen's apartment is full of mementos and presents given to him by his followers. One wall features a giant picture of Istanbul and the Blue Mosque. There are also tables and cupboards containing plates, vases and globes.
