Far-right protesters in Chemnitz: The eastern state of Saxony has become a breeding ground of right-wing activists, with extremist structures having become solidified shortly after German reunification. In no other German state is the right-wing populist Alternative for Germany party so successful: Every fourth voter plans to cast their ballot for the right-wing populists in next year's election in the state.
