Photo Gallery Nazi Submarine Found Near Java
Divers have discovered what is believed to be a German submarine from World War II off the coast of the Indonesian island of Java.

This undated image shows a skull found by Indonesian archeologists at the site of what is believed to be a German submarine from World War II. It was discovered by divers off the coast of the island of Java and contains at least 17 skeletons.

The submarine is thought to be the U-168, which was torpedoed by a Dutch ship in 1944. Among the items found onboard were this tea cup.

This Nazi insignia was found on a plate inside the submarine, according to Indonesia's National Archeology Center.
