Around 300,000 pounds (about €353,300) of government funds have been invested in sprucing up more than 100 properties in the Northern Ireland county of Fermanagh, which is hosting the international G8 economic summit from June 17-18. But the use of window-sized posters to hide the economic decay that is widespread in the area has drawn heavy criticism from locals.
